Wildgame Innovations is just one of 14 Plano Synergy Holdings' outdoor brands including hunting, fishing, and lifestyle as well as their corporate website. All 14 websites are now built on Magento Enterprise 2, which includes a Sales Force integration into their internal ERP System JDE. This is a multi-domain setup with one instance of Magento running all 14 sites. The sites are built and deployed using BitBucket Pipelines ensuring a seamless developing experience for all teams. Previously, all of the content pages were in WordPress with a Fish Pig middleware to integrate them into Magento. Locus rebuilt all of the content pages using Magento Page Builder for quick page creation, updates, and integration with the Magento catalog. All contact, product registration, warranty and service forms were integrated at the same time into SalesForce.
Locus maintained all 14 sites including overseeing hosting, security, performance monitoring, ADA - GDPR - PCI compliancy, Magento upgrades, all aspects of Magento backend configuration and maintenance, Search Engine Optimization, Google Analytics and Reporting, QA and User Testing, Design and Branding.
Locus was responsible for developing a strategic ecommerce marketing plan that would ultimately result in a 79%+ overall growth in sales in just one year.
Locus was able to accomplish these goals through extensive website audits that resulted in developing an improved user experience executing significant updates to the navigation, filters and sorting, category pages, product pages, mobile optimizations, and ecommerce flow improvements. We integrated key services like Bazaarvoice and Curalate to help create user-generated content by collecting ratings and reviews that aggregated with those collected from retailers ultimately increasing product conversions. Curalate provided shoppable user-generated content creating another source of online product shopping for consumers. Locus also added Clearsale Fraud Service which eliminated the 40+ hours a month that the Plano team would normally spend monitoring orders for fraud thus significantly reducing the number of fraud orders shipped.
Wildgame Innovations is their leading hunt brand that focuses on innovative, cutting-edge technology for Trail Cameras and Scent Concealment. Locus successfully helped Wildgame launch their NEW Huntsmart™ App – the ultimate scouting app - that tracks placement of trail cams, live streams camera views, tracks and filters game photos including capturing data such as time, weather, location, species, etc. This new App integrates with existing cameras as well as pairs with the new Insite camera line launched at the same time. Locus developed landing pages, content for product pages and home page content that was used to educate consumers and drive downloads of the app.
Another key product launch Locus assisted with launching was ZeroTrace™ - the newest technology in scent detection using PureION™ Technology that neutralizes odor molecules without the harsh oxidation found in other solutions. We developed landing pages, product content, category page content and animations to creatively show how the technology works.
