When WaveCel, the innovators behind helmet technology that protects cyclists, skiers, and construction workers from traumatic brain injury, decided to give their technology its own identity, they turned to Locus. The goal: to create a standalone brand that represents the power and promise of WaveCel itself, independent from the helmets it enables.
Challenge
WaveCel needed a website that could speak to helmet manufacturers and industry partners, positioning its technology as a premium, licensable safety solution. While they had a name, logo, color palette, and font system, the visual identity was still loosely defined. The site needed to establish a clear, modern, and tech-forward look and feel that could serve as the foundation for Nuro as a brand.
Solution
Locus transformed the early brand assets into a cohesive digital identity. We created 3D assets to visualize the technology, provided creative art direction for photography, and designed a modular site that combines scientific credibility with a clean, modern aesthetic. The result is a site that communicates innovation and trust, bridging the gap between consumer appeal and technical precision.
Outcome
The new nuroprotection.com launched as a sophisticated digital home for WaveCel’s technology. It reintroduces the science behind the brand with clarity and impact—empowering helmet manufacturers to envision how Nuro can fit within their own products and identities.
