Goodrich | Industrial Couplings
Goodrich Industrial Couplings (GIC), a Collins Aerospace company, pursued Locus to help them create a microsite that would stand on its own. Unlike many of the other Collins acquirees, GIC broke the mold on Collins’ monolithic branding and structure. They sold to a diverse, commercial market (not just aerospace companies) and needed to look and speak differently to their target audience.
Locus jumped in and analyzed GIC’s existing marketing collateral and sales materials to understand tone, audience and product before assembling a plan for the microsite. Without high-quality, product shots and cohesive brand imagery, it would be an uphill battle to create something visually compelling, so we pitched asset creation. If we created realistic CGI models of each product and procured a library of brand images, our microsite design would appear far more professional. While we were unable to hold a photoshoot for brand imagery, we did earn the opportunity to render each of their products.
The result, a simple, clean, easy-to-understand microsite that acts as the perfect resource for potential customers.
