Philosophy
Seeing a need for more affordable, efficient, and easy to maintain websites, Tracy Duryee (now Bech) and Jill Crimmins started Locus Interactive, Inc. in 2003. With their years of working together in web project management, design and development, they were able to hit the ground running.
Locus launched into business with their first client, YosemitePark.com (through their concessionaire, DNC). Over the years, using a modular development model integrated into highly usable and search engine optimized website designs, they have provided many clients with tools to achieve visibility, growth and success online.
Locus Interactive keeps abreast of core marketing and business needs specific to websites success. Locus is adept at learning about each business and entity they work with to determine how to maximize the factors for achieving overall success.
To support marketing and business needs, Locus has re-deployed core website modules over and over again: e-commerce, email newsletter sending and content management. Locus has also developed code generating tools to reduce the cost of additional custom modules such as press releases, links, FAQs, and other database driven functionality. The result is a custom, yet tried and true, web solution.
