NACHC's Mission is "To promote the provision of high quality, comprehensive and affordable health care that is coordinated, culturally and linguistically competent, and community directed for all medically underserved populations.”
www.NACHC.com suffered from navigational sprawl that contributed to a poor user experience and made it extremely difficult for users to find the information that they were looking for. These issues were compounded by out-dated content, missing pages, and a huge volume of decentralized supporting downloadable documents.
Compounding the navigational and content issues www.NACHC.com integrated with several 3rd party applications without consistent branding that created a disjointed user experience when accessing these 3rd party applications from NACHC.com.
Locus Interactive worked closely with NACHC's Director of Information Technology, Jason Gump, to fully assess the needs of NACHC's staff and develop functionality that would aid in their communication efforts while maintaining an easily navigable website architecture.
Built on top of Locus' proven content management system www.NACHC.com now houses a centralized document library, a custom (and scalable) blog, on the fly include file generation for 3rd party applications, various RSS feeds throughout the site, automatic post and remove functionality for content, along with press releases, an online magazine, and much much more.
Additionally, NACHC.com houses an HTML newsletter generation administration area that utilizes the API of Locus' Partner Vertical Response to centralize the multiple NACHC newsletters and send 2,000,000 HTML newsletters a year.
www.NACHC.com now houses a set of communication tools for the staff and has functionality in place to make content maintenance much easier for the NACHC IT staff.
