The Project

Background & Challenge

Highgear came to Locus for an e-commerce solution that would replace their flash-designed website that just wasn't getting traffic, wasn't coming up in searches, nor selling their innovative products. The challenge was to provide a functional and user-friendly site while maintaining the same brand and marketing image as the flash site.

Solution

Locus developed an all encompassing product and health resource and e-commerce website that was both user- and search engine-friendly. Locus integrated compelling photography of Highgear products and the lifestyles that people use them in, as well as valuable health tips and articles for a content-rich website that went beyond just selling products.

Result

Highgear's traffic and sales numbers online sky-rocketed after the first month of launch. Users now use the online resources for warranties, product manuals, and contact info, easing the phone staff resources and time at Highgear.

Tech Highlights

Mirrored Site

Highgear has a separate brand for their International distribution. Locus mirrored the site and customized the administration to serve both, saving Highgear a completely separate website and a lot of money.
